This is my grandmother, 

She worked in New York City, in midtown. She had her own office with an amazing view, I think she worked on the 24th floor but I’m not hundred percent sure… Anyways she was covering for the receptionist when she went on lunch because the woman who usually does it was out.  The door bell rang and she answered it, it was an Asian woman and a Black man selling copiers. The Asian woman, assuming my grandmother had some low level position, didn’t even bother with her when my grandmother greeted her. The Asian woman requested to speak to someone higher. Knowing where this was going my Grandmother asked her co-worker to speak to the woman. The woman then directed her to the person that would be in charge of ordering the copiers. As they went into the office they saw my Grandmother sitting at her amazing desk, in her amazing office. My Grandmother then motioned them to sit down. The Asian woman was so stunned that she couldn’t even get through her sales pitch. But even if the woman performed an opera, my Grandmother wasn’t going to buy those copiers. 

My Grandmother is awesome. She also told this story a lot better then I could <3 

I was about to eat some raw cookie dough, and then I heard that fucking saying in my head… and then I thought of this drawing… and now I’m going to eat some raw cookie dough.

Face to a name, this is my grandma <3 most beautiful woman I know in the whole god damn universe ~ That last photo was taken in 1997, she was 56 ~ Second photo is of me and her at my kindergarten graduation 

She should have totally been a model! 

After I started following, dank-potion, thegoddamazon, ladyatheist, karnythia and a bunch of others, basically this was my dash. Just none stop threats, bullshit racism, and white pity parties. Inspired this quick gif… not all that smooth or clean but I hope it gets the point across.

I’m tired of the X best friend bullshit… What made me draw this mostly was a gif from True Blood… and remembering Tara went in front of a fucking shot gun for Snookie and got her brains blown out. 

…Fuck Snookie. And all supposed white best friends like her.

I got my new pen!! Thought I’d test it out~ Quick little doodle. I’m terrible at lines but I tried :) 

This is pretty much my response to a lot of people who have reblogged the woman with the afro I drew. There have been quite a lot of comments I’ve seen on my dash, some people felt ‘uncomfortable’ with the racial undertones, others posted ‘THIS WOULD BE ME IF I WAS SASSY BLACK WOMAN!’ and fruit basket assortment of stupidity basically. I don’t care for it honestly. But thats the price of posting something on the internet ♥ ~ 

Current Work in Progress. **commission** I *always* use myself as reference when it comes to hands… She has the power over plant life and shes making jasmine bloom in her hand and smelling it, I have yet to draw the jasmine ~
